Twila was hired by The Hill School in 2015 to lead the then-newly created Hobart’s Run initiative, bringing with her compelling experience in public administration, economic and real estate development, non-profit management, and community organizing. She soon implemented various “clean and safe” initiatives to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood, earning her the Rotary of Pottstown’s “Person of the Year” award in 2017. Twila enjoys serving on several local boards and committees, including the Pottstown Borough Land Bank, the Pottstown Parks Foundation, and the YMCA Advisory Board. She holds a B.A. in political science from Columbia University, an M.P.A. in public administration with a certificate in economic development from the University of Pennsylvania, and she expects an Executive M.Sc. in Cities from the London School of Economics in December 2023.

Twila Fisher, Executive Director of Hobart’s Run, will be leaving her role after nearly a decade of service to Hobart's Run, The Hill School, and the Pottstown community. Fisher has accepted a position as the Economic Development Director for the City of Ellsworth, Maine, where she will lead infrastructure and housing initiatives funded by federal and state programs beginning this June.
