Jessica Sykes

Nurse Manager of Centralized Follow Up

Planned Parenthood

Six generations of my family have lived in Hobart's Run. Hobart's Run is very special to me. I am committed to restoring the neighborhood that has nurtured my family for over 100 years.

Born and raised in Pottstown, Jessica is a descendant of the late Richard J. Ricketts, an iconic mover and shaker in the community and founder of the Ricketts Center (now a part of the Boyertown Area Multi-Service organization). After graduating from Pottstown High School, she earned her associate’s degree at Montgomery County Community College then obtained her nursing degree from Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

Jessica showed an active interest in the Hobart’s Run initiative from its planning stages and volunteered to serve as a block captain when Hobart’s Run launched in 2016. Jessica is a dedicated participant in neighborhood clean-ups and meetings, and she is an enthusiastic advocate for our work in Pottstown.

Currently Jessica works as a nurse coordinator for Centralized Follow Up at Planned Parenthood. She also is enrolled at Chamberlain School of Nursing, pursuing an advanced degree. The proud mother of a daughter and a son, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, and other hobbies.

"How Can I Help Hobart's Run?"

There are many ways to get involved – from volunteering for a cleanup, participating in neighborhood meetings, serving as a block captain, or making a financial contribution that will help us fund our community initiatives.

Hobart's Run (a 501(c)(3) neighborhood initiative) was launched by The Hill School to create a clean and safe community; foster inclusivity; provide incentives for home ownership and property pride; and generate quality business development.
