STRIVE Intiative

Nurturing the positive development of youths is an essential part of community revitalization. The next generation is the leadership of tomorrow, so it is crucial that young people are equipped with the proper resources, skills, connections, and motivation to make them successful

The Hobart’s Run Board benefits from David’s perspectives as a graduate of Pottstown Senior High School who grew up in the Penn Village projects, a subsidized housing development. Although he experienced many obstacles, David pursued a music career which took him to areas such as California, Florida, New York, Atlanta, and Germany. He co-founded the STRIVE Initiative (Strengthening Tomorrow Requires Initiative; Vision Every Day) and is Executive Director of this 501(c)(3). STRIVE helps underserved youths reach their potential through character-building programs involving arts, recreation, and civic involvement.

"How Can I Help Hobart's Run?"

There are many ways to get involved – from volunteering for a cleanup, participating in neighborhood meetings, serving as a block captain, or making a financial contribution that will help us fund our community initiatives.

Hobart's Run (a 501(c)(3) neighborhood initiative) was launched by The Hill School to create a clean and safe community; foster inclusivity; provide incentives for home ownership and property pride; and generate quality business development.
