Alyssa Slade was hired in September 2025 as the Community Engagement and Economic Development for The Hill School and Hobart’s Run. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Community Leadership, both from Alvernia University. Alyssa brings over a decade of experience in higher education and nonprofit leadership, with a proven track record of building collaborative programs that uplift communities and foster meaningful connections. Passionate about civic engagement, Alyssa oversaw large-scale service programming and coordinated partnerships with local nonprofits and schools in and around the City of Reading.

Alyssa is deeply committed to advancing Hobart’s Run’s mission to create a stronger, more vibrant Pottstown community. She is excited to build upon the organization’s momentum, ensuring that residents, businesses, and organizations continue to thrive together.

There are many ways to get involved – from volunteering for a cleanup, participating in neighborhood meetings, serving as a block captain, or making a financial contribution that will help us fund our community initiatives.
