Fall Cemetery Cleanup Brings Out Volunteers… and Bulbs

The Fall 2025 Edgewood Historic Cemetery cleanup attracted about 50 volunteers who planted 750 bulbs along the Keim Street bank, mulched and beautified the flower beds, cleaned up the brick sidewalk along High Street, and raked leaves. Participants included students and teachers from The Hill School’s Afternoon Community Service program; Red Horse Motoring Club; and Pottstown Mayor Stephanie Henrick and Council Members Andrew Monastra (who is also President of the Cemetery board), Trenita Lindsay, and Joe Kirkland.

We are grateful to Little Italy/The Pourhouse and The Hill’s food service provider, Sodexo, for providing lunch for the workers. Also, Rob and Paula Bickelman of Find Solutions Properties again rented and operated a big chipper for the cause.

"How Can I Help Hobart's Run?"

There are many ways to get involved – from volunteering for a cleanup, participating in neighborhood meetings, serving as a block captain, or making a financial contribution that will help us fund our community initiatives.
